About the Event
Join us for the first inaugural Race Against Suicide, a powerful statewide event bringing together community members from across Missouri to raise awareness and foster hope around suicide prevention.
This race is more than just a run or walk—it’s an opportunity to come together in remembrance, support, and action.
Most of us have been touched by suicide in some way. Whether you're:

Honoring the memory of a loved one,

Supporting someone who is struggling, or

Standing in solidarity for prevention—
You are welcome here.
This event is for everyone who believes in the power of connection and the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.

Location: Downtown Jefferson City, MO
Same-Day Registration & Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:00 AM
Race Start Time: 9:00 AM
Registration Fees
Early Bird Registration: $30
Available May 19 – August 14
Regular Registration: $40
Available August 15 – September 26
Day of Registration: $45
Available on September 27 (Race Day)
Race Route
Start/Finish: 201 W Capitol Ave - In front of the Missouri State Capitol
Participants will begin the race at 201 W Capitol Ave, directly in front of the Missouri State Capitol. From there, runners and walkers will follow this route:

Head east on E Capitol Avenue

Turn right onto Riverside Drive

Turn right onto E High Street
-
Follow E High Street as it becomes W High Street

Turn right onto Broadway Street
-
Continue on Broadway back to W Capitol Avenue, returning to the original start/finish line
The route is a complete loop, and participants will finish back at the Capitol for post-race activities and celebrations!
